He started working as an in-house lawyer for Bag-Kur Head Office in Ankara at the begining.

In the year 1983 he began working for Türkiye İş Bankası -İstanbul District as a full time in-house lawyer and he changed to be a part time lawyer at İş Bankası and continued his career as a private law office at the same time. In 1996 he returned back to İş Bankası and worked as full time in-house legal counsel again in İstanbul District.

He was then promoted in the year 2000 as Asst. Chief Legal Adviser at the Head Office of İş Bankası. İn the year 2010 he became the Head of Legal Department-İstanbul District.

He concluded his in-house banking career and retired as the Regulation Manager in the Compliance and Risk Management department in 2011 at the Head Office of the same bank.

During his long term experience, he worked mainly on financing agreements, loans, pledge, mortgage, surety, letter of guarantees and other securities like promissory notes and drafts as well as conflicts and litigation about these subjects. Furthermore he worked on several different types of banking agreements which also includes international contracts, stand by letter of credits, letter of credits, assignments and also litigation about these. Besides his banking practice, he also worked on the IP rights issues.

In his professional life time he has studied proficiency level in English at Luton College Of Higher Education, Luton Town/England for one year.

He joined seminars, symposiums, advanced training and conferences held by Paris Chamber of Commerce and ICC Paris on behalf of İş Bankası for several times.

He has been working as a part time legal counsel for Söylev Law Office since May 2013

He has still been working for Soylev Law Office since May 2013 and also managing the relations of the Office with the foreign companies.
